Latin America in the last five years has been hosting the digitalization within its different economic sectors, this has included the use of Cloud Computing. This has produced a variation within the economy of each of the industries, since it has generated that resources can be managed in a more optimal way. However, Colombia has had a particular role in the development of this technology in Latin America, since it has been one of the countries that has adapted this modality more efficiently. Taking into account that the most used form of Cloud has been the Public Cloud, the large companies providing telecommunications services can venture into this market, providing this type of service to Colombian companies.
This project is generated as a market model to improve the scope of Cloud Computing provided by Huawei technologies in Colombia. Therefore, an analysis is performed according to their behavior in the different sectors of the market for large Colombian companies. So that understanding of the current behavior of the market for each of the classes of Cloud Computing is achieved.
Taking into account the growth that cloud computing has had globally, where it exceeds 300 million dollars per year. It delves into how the market is currently in Colombia, analyzing the reasons why companies prefer this technology. This being information of high importance for the management of the market, offered the possibility of impacting with a market strategy according to the needs of each of the sectors.
Within the distribution of the project, we can find two chapters which are presented after the introduction. Thus, the first chapter locates the state of the art of the project, this presents an overview of what the trajectory and development of Cloud Computing has been throughout history. So you can indicate how Huawei has been in the global cloud computing market, giving way to the analysis of what are its strengths within the industry. Additionally, a distinction is made between the different modalities in which Cloud Computing presents the needs of the industry. With this distinction is carried out an explanation of its main characteristics in the three categories that are presently presented. Finally, within the state of the art it shows how is the situation currently in Colombia with respect to technology, what are its immersion statistics within the Colombian industry.
In the second chapter, the service strategy is presented, in which it is divided as follows: Market study and development of the offer. Each of the processes contains essential factors to be able to adequately develop market analysis. This chapter is presented with the purpose of being able to provide the exact knowledge of the requirements that the Colombian industry has regarding this technology. In addition to providing information that must be taken into account when implementing Cloud Computing in a company, as the legal aspect that is your responsibility. On the other hand, the requirements at a general level of large companies in Colombia were analyzed, where they were divided between what is needed at an operational and technical level. Finally, the development of the offer is presented, where the solutions provided by Huawei for the development of the Cloud in the different scenarios are disclosed. In addition to this, the services that are under development are presented to be able to provide an integral solution to each of its clients.
All of the above with the purpose of generating the best alternative for Huawei as a company present in the Colombian market to increase its incidence in the Cloud Computing industry. Resulting in the increase of sales to improve the performance of the company in this aspect, achieving position as one of the most reliable companies in terms of virtualization and management of Cloud Computing.
