Resumen
This research proposal is an inter-institutional effort that is intended to be developed jointly between the
Universidad de los Llanos and the USTA. Both institutions share budgets in equal parts.
The subject is violence and its different forms of reproduction within the rural school. It is considered
appropriate to address this subject taking into account the current situation in Colombia in the face of the
post-peace agreement. The purpose of the research is to understand the different forms of violence and
non-violence that are presented there, and to contribute to the construction of possible scenarios of peace.
Violence and conflict have been present in the social, political and daily lives of Colombian citizens for
generations, but what concerns the most is that it has permeated and transcended school contexts, especially rural ones, this apprehensions and even more so when young people and children are the most
involved. The results of this research aim to describe and understand the configuration of belief systems in
rural school contexts by the actors to recognize the forms of violence and non-violence that circulate in
educational scenarios, in order to identify the pedagogical practices implemented in the school and to
propose guiding principles that service non-violent educational scenarios
