Resumen
The development of DC / DC power converters has made it possible to improve the efficiency and operation of different electronic systems. This article presents the design, simulation, analysis and implementation of a zeta converter topology for a solar power system. This type of converter works as a boost/buck and must be connected between the solar array and the load. In addition, the MPPT Perturbation and Observation (P&O) algorithm will be implemented to obtain the maximum power of the solar panel arrangement and additionally the closed loop PI controller will be added in order to improve the the entire system response.
