Resumen
Wetlands are important ecosystems for local and global area because the ecosystem services that it can provide as: climatic regulation, aquifer recharge, flow regime, sediments retention, water purification, forest resources, tourism. So is necessary the implementation of methods that can be used for management strategies in the conservation of wetlands. In this project suggest the environmental risk assessment for this easy method and good result that it can offer, this assessment was apply in the wetland El Resbalón located in Cota (Cundinamarca) that present many problems like: land use conflict and water quality problems for the activities development in the area as agriculture, settlement, transmission of energy, road construction and school services.
For the risk assessment was used the method proposed for Malekmohammadi and Rahimi, and the wetland risk assessment framework of Convention RAMSAR that includes risk identification, risk analysis, risk characterization and strategies for risk management. The results show that exist nine (9) threat: wetland fragmentation, road construction, domestic wastewater, agricultural wastewater, invasive species, over exploitation of natural sources, eutrophication, rural urban development and disposition of urban solid waste and the risk characterization show that the highest risk in the wetland are: wetland fragmentation, invasive species and eutrophication so the strategy for wetland conservation was focused in this risk with proposal of the following sept: enhance the ecology connectivity, plant native species , efficient use of fertilizers, control of wastewater and other ones; all with the help of the community and municipal organizations for provide the conservation of the wetland.
