Corporalidades propias y ajenas según el debate del porno y el discurso de la pospornografía en la ciudad de Bogotá D.C.

Abstract

This investigation work shows a reflexive perspective from the social sciences, particularly from sociology, around the visibility of certain form of speeches about body and sexuality. This text´s aim is to analyze certain pleasure discourses created in a contemporary society, specifically those used in Bogotá D.C. In this sense, this investigation is distributed in 3 parts: first, the acknowledgment of pornography from his conceptualization, in relation with the debates porn itself created inside feminism, problematizing the principal feminist arguments of pro-censorship, pro-sex, and the contextualization of pornography in Colombia. The second part revolves around the debate of gender and it´s relation with the sex as a mechanism of power in corporality’s, being post-pornography situated in the middle of the discussion: its influences, the importance of self-designation, it´s practices and corporality´s. Finally, the third part develops the performance category and its relation with post-pornography. This way, questions such as 1) how is post-pornography conceived as a pleasure alternative by the citizens of Bogota? 2) What practices and corporality´s emerge from the post-pornography discourse in Bogotá? 3) Which difficulties have encountered the acceptation of this practices? Will be analyzed, among others, in the last paragraphs after the approach to three queer referent´s in the city, who were carefully identified after an exhaustive search for key actors in the main events of the post-pornography scene: “La Noche Roja” festival (2017), “Szex Muestra de Arte Erotica de Bogotá” (2018) and the “Noche afrodisiaca” festival (2019).
