Resumen
This research aimed to resignify the concept of inclusion and social vulnerability in the Andean Area University Foundation. This was attended by four representatives of the educational institution: one teacher, a student, an administrative and a family father. The relevance of this is the experience of each actor in the face of the role he plays within the institution, so it was sought to connect and contrast imaginaries against inclusion and social vulnerability.
This work was carried out under a postmodern look from an ecosystem and complex paradigm, with the epistemological basis of social constructionism. The methodology, has a qualitative approach, with a design from systemic modelling, using as a technique conversational scenarios, where the meanings and experiences that each participant had around each concept were investigated, and how they perceived inclusion together with the social vulnerability within the Andean Area University Foundation. As a result, each participant’s experiences and emotions are intertwined to generate reflective actions that gave an account of the resignification process of social inclusion and vulnerability.
For the analysis of the results the categorial analysis was used, establishing matrices that facilitated the organization of disciplinary categories that were inclusion, vulnerability and resignification. Subsequently, the previously categorized stories were crossed, with the subcategories of resignification.
The results and conclusions were aimed at understanding the concept of inclusion from diversity, this being a tool that allows the integration and free participation of people in different contexts. As for vulnerability, it was found that this is a condition that is assumed or assigned socially. Finally, a comprehensive definition of inclusion within the higher education institution was co-constructed with the participants.
