Resumen
This work was carried out within the framework of the Master of Education at the Santo
Tomás University, during the period 2020-2021, where the COVID-19 pandemic began and
developed, which brought with it different changes in all sectors without excluding education.
The strategy is proposed for the teaching-learning process with the purpose of being
implemented in the global situation, but with the possibility of replicating at any time in course
of history. Currently, and for several years, the need to make changes in educational practice that
allows responding to the different demands of education, applied and contextualized in teaching
has been identified and emphasized. For this reason, it is proposed to create a home garden
where school and knowledge are brought home, expanding the concept of the classroom and
recognizing the educational practice mediated by information and communication technologies,
with the main purpose of reaching to relevant findings for the teaching-learning processes that
insist on being taken outside classrooms and educational institutions, to improve an
understanding of concepts and theories, and in general build a new knowledge by students,
encouraging investigative experiences that contribute in an interdisciplinary way, further
enriching their training. For this, the work is carried out with 40 studnets from eighth grade in
the city of Duitama, mainly from the urban sector under the action research paradigm and the
qualitative approach where the chapter of conclusions is presented through observation and
triangulation
