dc.description.abstractThe inventory management of companies is becoming more competitive every day; therefore, it is necessary to innovate to reduce costs, obtaining real and accurate information on consumption. Focusing on the products that most influence within the company either economically or by its rotation. The work done for the company Textiles Vásquez Aragónes S.A.S. directed to the inventory system allowed the proposal of an inventory model that is coupled to the current reality of the company. The implementation of the model started from the characterization of the current situation of the company, then the most appropriate method for the optimization of the current inventory of the company and the one that best suits the needs was proposed, finally, a cost estimate was made obtaining the data to make the comparison between the proposed model and the current one.
