Liderazgo social en Colombia. Entre las resistencias para la paz y una política de muerte

Abstract

This research presents the analyzes that emerge from the relationships between the politics of death as a device of contemporary governments and the risks of people who exercise social leadership at various levels in Colombia. In this sense, this investigative commitment goes through the recognition of the departments with the highest risk for social leaderships, from the defense of Human Rights, community developments, socio-environmental defenses and the reincorporation processes after the signing of the Peace Agreement between the government and the defunct FARC-EP.

The biggest challenge faced had to do with identifying the records and sub-registries they have from the various institutions, in contrast to international organizations, foundations and ONGs, which try to keep the figures for disappearances and murders of these profiles up-to- date. For this case, the difference presented by state organizations is abysmal next to the figures of international organizations that monitor the issue.

Finally, the condition of the global pandemic caused by covid-19 continued to lead the investigation to an interesting hermeneutical exercise, insofar as it led the investigation to the rigor of identifying territories and relationships with risk aspects, through various portals , institutional internet pages, registries and sub-registries. At this point, it is important to present that although the issue is so close to the conditions in which Colombia lives today, it seems that the analyzes continue to be a commitment and at the same time a public complaint.
