Propuesta tecnológica para la gestión integral del recurso hídrico en el sector acuícola

Abstract

In this project, a technological recirculation aquaculture system was implemented, as a strategy for the integral management of water resources, applied to the fish farming sector, this prototype was carried out experimentally in the municipality of El Playón, Santander. The scope of this project consisted of determining the water quality index and efficiency through the methodologies of the ICA of IDEAM and the multiple condition factor (KM), this research recorded the following results: With the ICA methodology, it was determined that SART's water quality improved 3% greater than the ST "acceptable rating and a green warning sign." With the KM methodology it was identified that the SART improved the efficiency in the species "white cachama and red tilapia" by (15.8% -32.4%) higher than the ST and through a rational use of water, it was possible to decrease the flow in 11%, which makes this project a viable alternative to improve rural fish production systems.
