Abstract

The research focuses on defining the feasibility of a business opportunity represented in the production of peanut butter for a market of households of medium and high socioeconomic status in the cities of Tunja and Chiquinquirá, through the formation of a microenterprise whose investment reaches $ 87.2 million and sales between $ 110.2 and $ 238.4 million in a market share that starts with 4% and increases 1% per year; the expected operational results and their evaluation allow to demonstrate the advantages for the investor and for the different interest groups in the region about the convenience of their implementation.
