This project addresses the concepts of school religious education and spirituality, the starting point is the premise that School Religious Education, in the Colombian context, as a compulsory and fundamental discipline for comprehensive training, is a bet not only by government entities In educational matters, each institution assumes it according to these guidelines, that is, as determined in its Institutional Educational Project and developed according to the guiding parameters from its Institutional Pedagogical Model. This research work is oriented to the pedagogical training of the ERE that the students of the fifth grade zero two have in the area of School Religious Education, particularly in the San José de Sitionuevo-Magdalena Departmental Educational Institution. In this measure, the institutional guidelines that determine the topics that teachers must develop in each grade are investigated, as well as the way to do it according to the strategies set out in their MPI; but mainly the conceptions that have transcended the students to consolidate their concepts on religious education and spirituality.
