Resumen
The social construction and recognition of a territory is not always associated with its population growth or a specific physical space, in many cases the territories are stigmatized or pointed by negative situations that frame them as violent places, this is the case of Altos de Florida, located in commune six of the municipality of Soacha, which since the late 80's experienced accelerated population growth due to forced displacement product of the wave of violence that hit the country. The difficult conditions of poverty chained with the lack of opportunities made the neighborhood within the municipality was designated as a difficult hotspot, even for the authorities that listed it as a focus of violence and insecurity.
Despite such a hopeless panorama Altos de Florida, as a territory, not only begins a physical transformation. It also becomes a place where struggles, resistances and remeanings, that have hardly been heard, are configured , made visible and narrated. For that reason, with the production of a participatory radio documentary seeks to recover the memory of a neighborhood marked by stories, dreams, sacrifices, hopes and collective struggles.
