The economic effects of monetary reconversion in the countries of Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela were analyzed, identifying the variations in foreign trade, analyzing the behavior of macroeconomic variables such as inflation, GDP, balance of payments and the rate exchange rate and a comparison of the economic effects was made in each of the countries that have carried out this monetary reconversion in Latin America, in which the countries under study carried out the monetary reconversion during hyperinflationary phenomena, the main reason The elimination of the zeroes to the currencies was the immediate reduction of inflation. With the information collected it was possible to conclude that this objective was achieved considerably, since, during the years after the implementation of the new currency, inflation decreased significantly in all countries; Likewise, the GDP presented positive results for each of the countries, in each of them the GDP grew significantly after the implementation of monetary reconversion, generating in each of these economies more favorable environments, price stability, generating more investment in the country and also a growth in production, which was reflected in the import of machinery in order to increase competitiveness, with respect to the trade balance in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico presented an increase in exports because of the good economic environment in each of these countries, but in turn, imports increased, surpassing exports in a few years, generating deficit balances.
