The objective of this document is to explore the pedagogical possibilities of the fanzine, a type of artisan publication that serves as a platform for excluded discourses, based on the non-linear narratives and creative writings that it develops among its contents.
Today's society needs to find new ways of transmit knowledge that takes distance from what has been the center of the cultural universe for years: the book. This situation allows the search of new learning possibilities that can transform contemporary pedagogical systems.
The process to understand the capacity of the fanzine as a pedagogical tool includes the understanding of these publications as expressions capable of breaking traditional forms of reading and writing, which end up modifying the ways in which human beings recognize and diversify knowledge.
The syntax of this text is constructed in a way that you, as a reader, will be able to find different interactive resources as much as allowed. An explanation of the fanzine, and its pedagogical uses, needs the use of transgressing resources that materialize the objectives of this document.
So, leaving aside the academic barriers and formalisms, I invite you to use your creativity and imagination for trace, together, the relationship between fanzine and education. I assure you that a critical and effective reading of this document will make you aware of possibilities that, for sure, you didn’t know.
