Abstract

The role played by the Legal Psychologist in the expert reports as an expert or expert has a great responsibility as his main function is to issue a concept on the state of mental and behavioral capacity of the persons involved in issues of administration of justice so that through the psychological discernments referred to in the penal codes, the level of responsibility is established; in this context the main objective of this article is to establish the importance of the Ethics of the Legal Psychologist in psychological expert reports, as a criterion for the imputability of crimes, based on the analysis of the main concepts related to this process, such as Legal psychology, the ethics of the legal psychologist and the role of the legal psychologist as an expert in the judicial field, for this we worked with a methodology of narrative type under the design of bibliographic review.
