Abstract

The following document presents the projects carried out in the process as a research assistant by the student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Mateo Acero Becerra, professionally trained at the Santo Tomás University in Tunja. These projects were carried out with the collaboration of engineers from the faculty. The development of the investigative work generated a contribution of improvement in the deepened areas, providing students with personal and professional skills such as leadership, communication and research. Currently the tenth semester student of Mechanical Engineering, has an investigative experience as an assistant, where he participated in different projects in the university's research hotbed, in areas related to the mechanical properties of materials such as polymers and commercial steels .
