Resumen
The purpose of this research is to understand the narratives of masculinity and the body that affects the identity construction of members of the National Police wounded in combat, in order to generate alternative alternative narratives of masculinity of the participants. dominant (specific to hegemonic masculinity), the experience lived through the body, cultural, historical and social aspects provide elements for the identity construction of a person, in addition to generating a particular way of understanding reality and interacting with others. This occurs through different methodological strategies, semi-structured interview and corporate maps with 3 men who are part of the Colombian National Police, this is oriented under notions of second-order qualitative research, where narratives about alternate masculinities, as well as discourses that legitimize the actions of men in the armed conflict and various ways of identifying themselves.
