In the present work, the design of a pasteurizing kettle tank with a capacity of 80 liters for yogurt is proposed as a solution to the need to increase the production of artisan yogurt for small companies in the country. For the design of the tank, it was necessary to study the operation of the mixing and stirring processes, the needs of the operators and raw materials such as milk. After determining the design parameters, sizing, materials and detailed design of the tank, a simulation was carried out in SolidWorks engineering software with the objective of analyzing the mechanical operation of the equipment. It is important to highlight that the simulations allow performance tests to find deficiencies in the design and thus be able to make changes either in materials or in the dimensions of the elements in order to reduce costs and time for companies.
