Juvenicidio en la medialuna sur, Bogotá 2016 - 2020

Abstract

The representation of young people in urban violence has been judged from their actions and their decisions. The present research aims to make visible the factors that are part of the violence known as juvenicide, which only affects a specific young population, that is, not all young people are victims of juvenicide, but those who are in situations or places that give step to another type of violence, it is for this reason that the southern half moon of Bogotá, among its economic and political dynamics and its sociodemographic characteristics make it a place to analyze this phenomenon. For this reason, we start from a socio-critical stance, from a mixed approach with quantitative and qualitative analysis in order to understand these dynamics that permeate juvenicide.
