Abstract

Colombia as a multicultural and multi-ethnic territory, demonstrates with each of these peoples and communities, a historical struggle to maintain a greater life; In this work we sought to identify and interpret from a first approach to the Wayúu population, we work with the Epinayuu clan, one of the largest in its community and it is located in different areas of the department of La Guajira, its cultural elements that are They maintain even beyond the different facts that have been presented throughout history, have been transformed into worldviews and cultural practices, in order to find a clearer scenario for a project of international cooperation with indigenous communities.
