Abstract

Increasingly, the indexing of magazines, the value of the quartiles, the number of citations, the impact factors, the indexes of citations (h, i10, g, x or others), metrics, etc., have at the same time great quantitative and less qualitative interest, in relation to the recognition of authors and magazines, and lately, why not recognize it, due to the consolidation of an emerging business model. Like many other university professors, I have received emails emails encouraging me to publish articles in indexed magazines prior registration as a user on your platform and payment as a "subscriber" or "collaborator", or inviting me to publish an article of mine already published in Spanish or Catalan in a compilation book and in English, upon payment of the translation that the same publisher.
