Resumen
Until recently, business and the environment were totally opposed to each other. The
activities of an organization (construction or industry) could not be held back by
environmental concerns. This perspective has begun to change in response to growing
global concerns about climate change, hence the emergence of a concept called "sustainable
development" before the need to leave behind a productivist conception that leads to the
crisis would pose (destruction of the ozone layer, loss of biodiversity, pollution of vital
resources, etc.) the next report presents an analysis of what should be the practices and
strategies to be implemented in the organisations of the 21st century, So it is in this context
that the need arises to determine how a company’s efforts to safeguard the environment will
represent a competitive advantage in the global market, because more and more companies
are seeking recognition for being socially responsible to the environment and becoming
eco-efficient.
