Resumen
The following research seeks to establish what are the motivational factors in sports practice that allow the continuity of their sports without giving up on it, in people with physical disabilities who are part of the federated sport. For the above, a sample of 75 athletes (+ 12.28 ± 34 years of age)) from different sports and both genders (71 men and 4 women) was used.
As an instrument the questionnaire “Sports Motivation Scale (SMS)” by Pelletier et al., 1995; Balaguer, Castillo, & amp; Doubt, 2003; 2007, which evaluates two types of motivation; extrinsic and intrinsic and how these two influences in athletes.
