This research project aims to develop a system to synthesize thin films based on metallic nanoparticles using as a principle the operation of a centrifugal coating device, an open loop buck converter is designed for the effective feeding of a DC motor controlling its speed by modulating the pulse width modulation (PWM) through a microcontroller and a matrix keyboard in order to program three speed ramps, an LCD is conditioned to visualize the process information delivering a digitalization of the system. The synthesis of the metallic nanoparticles was carried out through the chemical route oxide reduction in aqueous medium, using the designed and developed system three thin films were elaborated on glass substrates previously treated at three different speeds (3000 rpm, 5000 rpm and 7000 rpm), their surface morphology and thickness were characterized using atomic force microscopy (AFM) techniques, the average size of the nanoparticle, surface plasmon and band energy were verified by UV-visible spectrophotometer.
