Resumen
In this qualitative investigation, the understanding of narratives about virtual couple conformation was addressed, this through the voice of two women who were in an age range between 20 and 30 years, who have lived through this situation. Two in-depth interviews were conducted with each participant through the biographical narrative method and after that the systematization was carried out through the narrative analysis.
The formation of a couple through virtual tools such as Skout and Badoo is understood from a constructionist meta theory, highlighting Gergen's proposal (1996) since according to this "people give meaning to their lives and relationships by recounting their experience" which contributed to fulfill the general objective being this, to understand the narratives of two women about the formation of a couple through the virtual tools Badoo and Skout, their specific objectives, the first of them was to describe the meanings about virtuality as a means of shaping couple, secondly describe the meanings about the couple's relationship and finally identify the events around the couple's conformation.
From the present investigation it was possible to reach the following main conclusions; In the first place, the couple's configuration is permeated by the technological changes and advances that facilitate interaction with new people, through virtual tools, replacing the interactions that previously occurred in physical spaces such as discos, libraries, family gatherings in which they are exposed according to the participants to the rejection of the people.
Secondly, it is concluded that despite the ease offered by virtual platforms to communicate with other people, participants prefer to maintain face-to-face relationships as this allows them to know the real characteristics of other people; thirdly, at the moment that the participants enter these virtual platforms, they choose specific characteristics of the person with whom they want to establish a sentimental relationship, however at the time of having face-to-face meetings with these people the participants express that they do not count with the features shown on the platform.
