This project analyzes the export feasibility of a product made from cassava, which is classified in tariff heading 19.05.90 other bakery, pastry or biscuit products, to be marketed to Latin American countries, through a preliminary investigation of the sector of cassava in Colombia and its export capacity, a country selection matrix was used to determine the potential that each one offers for our product, in addition to analyzing their demand and consumer behavior in the target country in this case Mexico, the frozen cassava bread as the product with export potential, taking into account various factors in terms of requirements and laws that Colombia and Mexico have for the exchange of this product. The appropriate logistics chain for the transport of frozen
products and the optimal maritime routes between Mexico and Colombia were evaluated. It is concluded that the project has great potential for its development because the destination country offers favorable and attractive characteristics for the trade of the selected product.
