Resumen
Similarity relationships were found between herbicides used by Colombian farmers that are regulated by the Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario - ICA. 25 herbicides were selected each defined by 24 physicochemical properties. Twelve cluster analyzes were performed based on a normalized data treatment, which used four (4) clustering methodologies (Centroid, Median, Ward, and Farthest Neighbor) and 3 similarity functions (Euclidean, Minkowski, and Cosine). One dendrogram was selected from the 12 obtained, and it was taken into account that the results obtained in all the dendrograms are similar. Specifically, the one obtained with the Euclidean similarity function and Ward grouping methodology was selected. The closure, border and interior sets of different selected subsets were studied, and the previous classifications obtained from the literature for these herbicides were taken into account. As a result, similarity relationships previously reported in experimental studies were corroborated, and a relationship was also found between glyphosate and glufosinate. It is important to note that this is a theoretical study that reproduces previous experimental results.
