The professional practice was developed in the Porcicola Santafé located in the village El Horro, municipality of Anserma Caldas, in a productive system of complete cycle, developing
operational activities such as: food supply, medication administration, weighing, weaning, delivery, castration, jealousy arrest, artificial insemination, registration, disease prevention, treatment and disease control, and animal selection.
Administrative activities such as: Evaluate the profitability and viability of Porcicola company, establishing income and expenses. Determine which production indicators are met, which ones are not, why and how to reach them.
Conceptual activities such as: Interpretation of records, evaluation of indicators. Technical assistance in reproduction and genetics, nutrition and food. and Support in the certification process before the ICA.
