Caracterización del egresado de la Maestría en Calidad y Gestión Integral de la Universidad Santo Tomás seccional Bucaramanga

Abstract

In accordance with the quality standards of higher education, the monitoring and characterization of graduates is identified as a relevant method, studies that allow obtaining various variables related to graduates of a specific academic program, with the objective of internally evaluating processes of improvement and strengthening that can be adopted from the programs improving the level of training provided to students. In the present investigation, a characterization of graduates of the master's program in quality and integral management of the Santo Tomás Seccional Bucaramanga university is carried out, with the objective of knowing variables in the social, economic, and labor spheres and their satisfaction with the program studied and of this way to analyze and establish improvements that serve to increase the quality of the academic program. The research was carried out with a sample of 35 graduates of the master's degree in quality and comprehensive management, the research was developed in 4 stages, which were to know labor, economic, and social aspects through a descriptive analysis, also through a cluster analysis to establish the level of satisfaction of the graduates is being carried out through the statistical program SPSS, also taking as a reference the perception of the companies in front of the graduates of the program and finally the elaboration of an improvement plan that according to the results obtained in the analysis of the information
