Revitalización urbana C.I.D - sector del antiguo terminal Duitama – Boyacá.

Abstract

This degree work is based on a regional and municipal research on the city of Duitama; highlighting aspects which will be the starting point for the project approach as they are; ecological structure, urban morphology, geographical location, regulations and problems at the socio-economic and cultural level. Taking into account the theoretical basis of the aspects mentioned above, the urban- architectural approach called URBAN REVITALIZATION ON THE SECTOR OF THE OLD TRANSPORT TERMINAL in the city of Duitama is established.

The urban-architectural proposal seeks to generate the connection of the administrative development pole such as the city center, with one of the most socially affected areas of it, known as the sector of the old terminal; in turn, with the ecological structure composed of the three tutelary hills that are part of the urban area of the municipality. Allowing this articulation generates the necessary dynamics to redefine the vocation on this sector of the city, since it is not only articulated in an urban way, through the recovery of the "Alameda bicentenario" project, generating quality public space, but also in a functional way through the activities of entrepreneurship and innovation, business and cultural commerce, which ideally define the project focus as a complex of innovation and development (C.I.D).
