Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to study the denial of access to unrestricted abortion, the consequent violations of women's rights that are denied abortion, the balancing of these rights and the right to life of the unborn, and the interference of States in the private life of pregnant women, as a result of this prohibition, in the international and regional human rights system.
