Understand the narrative construction of identity from the stories of the new masculinities and their relationship with essential care in three men who belong to masculinities collectives in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Situation for which, invited them to rethink the way they perceive themselves and the possibility is opened to reflect on their care practices. This research was developed from a qualitative methodology from the social constructionism paradigm, whose conceptual basis was the social construction of identity, narratives, masculinity and alternate masculinities, and essential care from a multidisciplinary approach between psychology and the philosophy.
In addition, this will be known through in-depth interviews and a reflective discussion, which will give an account of the experiences that men who are part of groups have had after being confined due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequences that it has had. brought into them in the construction of their identity regarding the masculine gender.
