this work presents an analysis of the literary works "Fahrenheit 451" and "1984" in connection with the situation of Colombia and the world in the year 2016, through the concepts of utopia and dystopia, and make a review by the history of occident, in order to see the movement of the world from distopía, and so project the necessity of a challenge humanist, that return the hope and the utopia, in shock whit the dynamic of the culture of occident. presents in the novels and in the history
