Resumen
In this project, a mechanical design of the components for an internal and external cleaning machine for drilling and production pipes in the oil industry is proposed, through the QFD methodology and the Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) process, with emphasis in structural analysis. In the drilling and production of the oil sector, carbon steel pipe can present fluid strangulation or tool jamming, due to a couple of extremely negative side effects: a tendency to rust during storage and the adhesion of organic matter after its operation. Prior to its inspection and reuse, a detailed cleaning must be carried out to the internal and external walls of the pipe. At the end of the project, new innovative design ideas were obtained for the market, where a transportable pipe cleaning system was developed, which offers a cost-effective domiciliary service with better quality and safety.
