Resumen
Medicinal gases are used in hospitals by pharmacological, immunological or metabolic means, and cover functions such as preventing, diagnosing, treating, alleviating, curing diseases or medical ailments, anesthesia, surgery, sterilization, clinical laboratories, establishing diagnoses, functioning and Calibration of measuring devices, incineration of surgical waste, and so on. Due to its multiple uses in medicine, its important role as a constructive component in buildings destined to the service of health and its vital importance in hospitals, it should be possible to form an ample database that allows to have a reference point to face The design of hospital institutions, since in these constructions the gas system is exposed to crosses and incompatibilities that must be solved to avoid inconveniences with the structural, electrical, hydraulic, other installations and architectural elements. If at the design stage, the identification of conflicts that can be presented when interacting with other networks of the work is achieved, it would be possible, subject to the rules to make decisions, such as types of material, compatibility with other networks, overlapping , Costs, programming, security and other aspects relevant to a correct installation and driving.
It is proposed to design a software that allows to carry out a checklist that allows the correct design and execution procedure for the installation of medical gas networks, besides the generation and reporting of reports of failures, incompatibilities, conflicts and / or crossings between Such networks with the other building components of a hospital building in accordance with NFPA99.
