Propuesta de un modelo de gestión de la propiedad intelectual para la empresa Néstor Rodríguez Muebles y Decoración S.A.S del Departamento de Boyacá

Abstract

This work is developed as a practical theoretical analysis focused on the study of the management of intellectual property in SMEs of Boyacá using the exploratory and descriptive method, in this way the research is designed from the general to the particular, starting from analyzing authors to know the subject, until reaching the proposal of an intellectual property management model for the company Néstor Rodríguez Muebles y Decoración S.A. S. During the development of the research, different theoretical references related to Intellectual Capital (IC) were found that were of great help in the elaboration of the proposed model, it should be noted that there is no standard model and that is why examples are needed to give support to the due proposal. An intellectual property model should be structured taking into account the client portfolio, the competence, the knowledge, the attitude and the skills of the talents and other auxiliary resources that they contribute to the knowledge; As well as intellectual capital and how it is taken into account in the company, it is given more and more importance in organizational management, thus increasing the benefit of goods or services (Combariza, Molano and Niño, 2014) In order to find an appropriate intellectual property management model in line with the characteristics of medium and small companies, specifically the company NÉSTOR RODRÍGUEZ MUEBLES Y DECORACIÓN SAS, this being the company selected for the development of the project for different reasons, One of them is the variety of products that can be registered, such as their artistic and industrial designs, trademarks, distinctive signs, and the possibility of identifying new products or innovative processes.
