Resumen
The present work describes the elaboration of the market analysis for the program of use of the PGIRS, in the municipality of Cumaral-Meta. Indicating the potential of resources achievable economically and environmentally. For this, three phases were taken into account, distributed in the following way: In the first instance, the general information was collected in order to establish the baseline regarding waste management, a plan was designed for the municipality of Cumaral where the location of the wineries and the collection routes of the recuperators. In addition, information gathering tools were designed to determine the quantification and characterization of the waste, and direct observation was also used by visiting the municipality to recognize the warehouses or collection centers and the level of generation, storage and final disposition of the waste, and to demonstrate the process in the handling of these by the recuperators. The potential of the collected waste was determined through the identification of the offer that was found through the analysis of the results obtained, where the type of recoverable material, total value, quantity and quality is evidenced. For the identification of the demand, the type of material to be marketed was established, as well as the minimum quantities required and the quality of the material, compliance with regulations, transport management areas and final disposal.
In the second phase, the cost of the exploitation activity for each of the materials to be commercialized was calculated and identified, valuing the municipal management alternative. Direct distribution channels were formulated so that the wineries or collection centers opt for a better availability of waste and their income increases. For this, objectives were set according to customer service, taking into account the associated costs and the level of support. The objectives were influenced by the nature of the company, the products, intermediaries, competitors, and the environment, without leaving behind the other factors that generated limitations, such as environmental factors, economic situations and legal regulations.
In the third and final phase, annual revenues were estimated by the commercialization of waste through potential supply and demand. Subsequently, a flow of funds from the harvesting program was drawn up, for which the expected income from the commercialization of the usable materials was set, as well as the public cleaning service fee, expenses and other municipal contributions. For the income, the effective payment times of the buyers of the materials were taken into account. Finally, the viability analysis was defined through the net present value.
