Resumen
The first theoretical debate in international relations was realism and liberalism. This debate resulted from opposition to the realistic school that defended the national interest and the liberals who rejected the international policy of war inevitability. systematic approaches to international relations related different features to explain historical events. Throughout the history of international relations, transcendental eventualities have occurred in the reconstitution of political and territorial power; The research therefore intends to analyze the Second World War as a relevant event in international relations from two theories: liberalism and realism, following a qualitative research methodology, since it studies, describes and explains a historical event considering this phenomenon and its components, by measuring concepts and defining variables.
The research is based on secondary sources such as; documents, articles, magazines, books, publications, etc ...
