Resumen
In this research work we present the design of the CATV network infrastructure for the company ACOPROJARLI in the city of Floridablanca, where the technical and economic specifications necessary to carry out the work in sector twenty of Bucarica are described; the investigation arose from the need posed by the company, where they describe that the
existing CATV network infrastructures are being damaged by façade changes and structural remodeling in sectors where they perform service provision, causing irreversible damage to active and passive elements; As part of the solution, the development of underground facilities was proposed, allowing the deployment of new networks of
copper and potentialize them by increasing the number of services that the community television system ACOPROJARLI could offer. A network structure capable of supporting broadband services will make it possible for ACOPROJARLI to provide services in a competitive way, even increasing the number of future subscribers, improving the offer and at the same time allowing access to communities with low purchasing power. Within the solution, a repotentialization is proposed
from the trunk network to HFC in order to use part of the existing network, allowing the generation of broadband services. To do this, a cartographic and network topology survey was carried out, an evaluation of the performance of the current network, proposing an adaptation of this respect to the equipment. As a result we have the design of the underground facilities with the amount of material and the costs involved in channeling the CATV infrastructure, the distribution of active and passive equipment involved in the network architecture is presented with the considerations, modifications and investments to get to the migration of HFC networks.
