Éxito endodóntico en dientes unirradiculares y birradiculares realizados por odontólogos

Abstract

The purpose of this document is determinate the success average of conduct treatments made by General Dentists in the ESE San Sebastian from La Plata Huila between June 2015 and January 2018. Materials and Methods: its made a research where we evaluate 80 endodontics treatments through medical tests and RX evaluation, the results were analyzed statistically with a Chi-cuadrado test with a significant value of 5%. Results: The success of the treatments done by general Dentist is 52.5% while that indeterminates was about 23.8% and failed 23.8%. Conclusions: The current study found 52.5% of success in the endodontics treatments made by general Dentists in the Ese San Sebastian from the town La Plata between June 2015 and January 2018, its found that the teeth color change treated endodontically may have a relation with the endodontic fails, the research can be match with the low presence of teeths with this color change since it was lower that 10% and is something suggested to be evaluated in futures studies.
