Resumen
The approach to the design guidelines for an urban walk for the Cañahuate and Centro neighborhoods in the city of Valledupar, seeks the revitalization and consolidation of the historic center, since it contains a great symbolic and social burden. One way to revitalize it is to articulate the public spaces that still exist since in these there is the exchange of cultural, economic and political activities. Therefore, within the guidelines, it is proposed: (a) a mobility plan in which a pedestrian system is established and the existing vehicle system is reorganized, (b) how this pedestrian system will be configured through the establishment of profiles (c) the modification of uses, (d) the treatment of current circulations and the configuration of a new development axis. This new axis would develop the connection between the Callejón de la Purrututú and the religious axis of Calle 15, which directly connects the plaza and the Parque de las Mothers. (Resolution number 3722 of 2014).
To achieve the guidelines, an investigation was carried out from the Semillero de Estudios Urbanos - SEURB, which resulted in a composition composed of five stages. In the first, an approach was made to the subject and related elements, in the second, the Urban Analysis Methodological Guide (Sevilla & Narváez) was used, which provides a database composed of analysis of indicators and regulations (PEMP;POT); followed by two stages in which the theoretical reference (Dieter Prinz) is interpreted, in his book Planning and urban configuration; Urban projects are studied and finally the definition of the general components in which these guidelines are grouped.
