Resumen
The purpose of this project is to design a Comprehensive Development Center for children, which is classified as an institutional type facility that seeks to guarantee initial education, care and accompaniment in health and well-being for children among the 0 and 14 years, through the framework of comprehensive care through pedagogical actions, care and management of compliance with health rights, protection and citizen participation of children. The project will be located in the municipality of Tunja (Boyacá) on commune 4, Barrio Altamira - in the western area and urban perimeter of the city, a sector in which a high risk of both spatial and social vulnerability is evident. The project proposes an architectural and sustainable design model, within which the LEED certification method will be implemented for a better use of resources, materials, and sustainable methods as a strategy for environmental care and, in turn, spatial interaction, both abroad. and inside the project, through the design of open spaces, color as a didactic method, textures, multifunctional classrooms, and the native use of vegetation for the urban improvement of the sector and the design of the areas that make up the project, with in order to generate bioclimatic comfort to the space and the architectural volume, which in turn must comply with the environmental determinants of the land.
The design of the Comprehensive Development Center for children is a highly complex aesthetic, functional and architectural project in which activities (educational, recreational, cultural, care and recreation) interfere with the development and growth of children, since that the project is planned with a large local coverage and destined for 1000 people, which will have areas (administrative, social, educational (by age), cultural, recreational, accompanying health, and services), which will provide to the users comfort, support, and social well-being in which they can develop, know and interact with a public project for the service of the community. The project is intended for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14 and / or until they enter the translational and basic primary grades, who are in vulnerable conditions, due to low economic levels, violence, exclusion or displacement in the city of Tunja.
