Nowadays, the Santo Tomas de Villavicencio University, within its degree options, has as a requirement the business practices to obtain the International Business title. This option of degree is very attractive and important for a student who aspires to a professional career, since it is launched what was learned in the university, it acquires experience and new knowledge in the workplace: which, is a totally different world to the academic, where the performance of the person in the different aspects and work activities is measured daily.
The experience offered by business practices is to face reality with the knowledge provided in the course of 5 years at the university, is to facilitate the adaptation to the world of work, know the rules and the different attitudes that should be used to exercise the race, to belong to a company, to meet and respond to a boss with a series of activities, objectives and goals that are proposed. At the same time, it is good to highlight that business practices open the doors in the labor field, because depending on the performance of the student, the bosses may decide that they will be immediately incurred for their good performance and excellent work.
In accordance with the above, the business practices were carried out in the Acacias-Meta City Hall, supporting the Ministry of Development and Sustainable Development, mainly in the Tourism sector; At the same time work will be done in the different areas that have to do with the race. In this report, detailed information will be given on the different support activities carried out.
