Resumen
A mass plan was proposed for the design of an eco-neighborhood where the implementation of houses and productive urbanism was highlighted. This model sought to preventively manage the construction of healthy cities for the enjoyment of its citizens, prioritizing bioclimatic design and the efficient use of energy through passive strategies. The premise was that, nowadays, building generates some solutions while at the same time causes other general problems. As time goes by, this makes spaces less comfortable, unworthy and even harmful for those who live in them and for the environment.
The main objective of the research was to design an Eco-neighborhood for the Town of Zapatoca Santander, as a mass plan under passive bioclimatic criteria, which would increase the sustainable interaction of the urban environment, preserving the natural landscape, the identity of the place and its architecture.
For this purpose, a methodology with a mixed approach of prospective planning was proposed, based on data collection in order to create its own climate files, by comparing data from official sources and interviews with the local population, as well as direct observation. According to the research carried out, it is concluded that an adequate climate study based on the analysis of the immediate environment allows the design to be able to be conscious and respectful of the surrounding resources, in order to guarantee the well-being, comfort and health of the population, as well as to preserve the environment.
