The purpose of this monograph is to make a previous analysis to determinate the actual competitive situation of the Academic Management Process in the Business Administration program of Universidad Santo Tomás, is important to highlights these process are know like the steps to make better Institutional Education projects and pedagogical processes based in the Five Forces of the American Economist Michel Porter Model with the purpose of identify the strengths and aspects to improve the Business Administration program in Universidad Santo Tomás.
This document is based in the research of the Five Forces of Michael Porter Model and the collection of information corresponding to the Academic Management Processes of the program of Administration of Companies of the Universidad Santo Tomás to reach the raised objectives. In addition, a representative sample of fifteen people was selected, who are directly involved in the Academic Management Processes of the Business Administration program, with the purpose of knowing their opinion and complementing the information used for the analysis; The study design is descriptive because it allows to observe and detail how the Academic Management Processes in their natural environment are presented, although it can use some quantitative and qualitative elements; In addition, a cross sectional approach is used to complement the information collected from primary sources and thus put into practice the approaches made by Michel Porter.
