Cencosud is a multinational company with a presence in 5 South American countries: Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, operating in it under the corporate name of Cencosud Colombia S.A. The company has different lines of business that include shopping centers and retail, which is the main economic activity developed in the country. The professional practice was developed in the commercial area of the Shopping Centers department, whose objective is the commercialization of trascaja spaces, which are located in the Jumbo, Metro or Easy stores throughout Colombia.
This paper aims to highlight one of the contributions made in the development of the practice, with which it seeks to improve the flow of information handled within the commercial team of the Shopping Centers area, by improving one of the tools of Business Intelligence with which the commercial team has, in such a way that it facilitates the decision making and the follow-up that is carried out to each of the clients, this thanks to the contact both with the internal processes, as with the clients that require Timely responses, during professional practice.
