Regulación jurídica de los Drones: caso colombiano

Abstract

In the 20th century, with the advent of technological developments, drones were created and implemented as flight equipment at the service of different sectors of society, including the defense sector. Colombia has not been the exception and through local inventions it has made a commitment to strengthen its infrastructure through them. However, with the emergence of interest from the civil sector on the rise, the need to build a legal regulation that would allow the state to have an aeronautical safety policy and clear limits on the sale and use of this equipment was evidenced, for this, in fulfillment of its functions, the Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics in conjunction with the Colombian Air Force were in charge of supplying the rules that will accompany the air navigation and therefore the use of drones; Colombia has been a pioneer in regulatory regulatory framework with several challenges in the near future.
