Resumen
This paper makes a description of Adherence to the Mediterranean Diet as a Nutritional Model, measured through the KIDMED questionnaire, carried out to UPTC Physical Education Students in the period 2020-2, in the periods before the pandemic and during the pandemic, with the purpose of describing the quality of the students' diet and the changes that occurred with the return of students home due to the pandemic, as a strategy from health education focused on promoting styles of healthy lives, taking into account that the beginning of university life leads to a number of changes in lifestyle and in the way of eating for many young people, having to leave home to go to study in another city, Which explains that some young people deteriorate the quality of their diet and acquire bad eating habits by preferring fast or industrial foods or avoiding the consumption of fruits and vegetables, either for reasons s economic or time allocation. We find very interesting data that we compare with other Colombian studies that have also used the KIDMED in university students.
