The study of civil engineering is a relationship of knowledge and skills that are developed by implementing skills learned in theory and executed in the field, the relationship of these, allows the professional growth of an engineer, and likewise allows personal growth to develop in an interdisciplinary environment that leads to strengthen teamwork and acquire knowledge of people who have more experience.
This report is the result of the work carried out as an intern at the Institute of Urban and Rural Development of Yopal - IDURY, in the sub-management of infrastructure and urban development of the housing area; by the student Wilson Fabian Quintero Angarita, who opted for the degree of civil engineer at the University Santo Tomas Tunja section.
The document describes PQR document management activities, verification of habitability and physical condition of 30 undelivered housing units of the Villa David stage I project, and accompaniment in the supervision of188 housing units under construction in Villa David stage III, projects located in the municipality of Yopal Casanare.
A detailed description of the contributions and impacts generated by the trainee during the execution of his professional practice, which lasted 600 hours, is also provided.
In the development of the internship, technical support was provided by engineers Erika Johana Castillejo García, a professional linked to IDURY, and by engineer Efraín Nossa Parra, who held the position of assistant manager of infrastructure and urban development at IDURY, and the supervision and monitoring of the work carried out by engineer Claudia Marcela Holguín Moreno, The project was carried out by a team of professionals from the Santo Tomas University, Tunja section, who collaborated in strengthening not only the professional skills of the trainee but also in leadership and decision making with ethical and moral character, generating a commitment to the community and social responsibility that brings with it the development and application of civil engineering in society.
